Entergy, Vermont Utilities Fight Over Documents

More than five years after the collapse of a cooling tower at the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant, legal wrangling continues over the incident between Vermont's utilities and plant owner Entergy Corp.
Vermont utilities that got power from the Vernon reactor under a contract with Entergy are suing because they were forced to buy more expensive electricity on the spot market. Vermont Yankee reduced power after the cooling tower collapse.

Now the two sides are arguing in U.S. District Court over who should get to see documents related to the case.

Vermont's electric companies no longer get power directly from Vermont Yankee because the contract under which they did so expired a year ago.
