There are three questions on the election ballot statewide in Massachusetts this year.

In some parts of western Massachusetts voters will see a fourth question on their ballot.

It seeks to record public support for a single-payer health care system in Massachusetts.

WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Deborah Levenson of Western Massachusetts Medicare for All, the organization sponsoring the ballot question.

Paul Tuthill is WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief. He’s been covering news, everything from politics and government corruption to natural disasters and the arts, in western Massachusetts since 2007. Paul has won more than two dozen Associated Press Broadcast Awards. He won an Edward R. Murrow award for reporting on veterans’ healthcare for WAMC in 2011.
