Burlington Mayoral Candidate Steve Goodkind Discusses Election Campaign

Steve Goodkind for Mayor

On Town Meeting Day Tuesday, Burlington voters will choose a new council and mayor in a redistricted city. There are four candidates running for mayor in Vermont’s Queen City. In the next segment in our series with the candidates, WAMC’s North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley speaks with the Progressive-endorsed hopeful Steve Goodkind.

A former city engineer and Director of Public Works, Steve Goodkind worked for the city of Burlington for 32 years before retiring in 2012. He decided to run for mayor after becoming involved in city-oriented groups and discovering he did not like the direction and temperament of the current administration in Vermont’s largest city.

That was the former Director of Public Works Steve Goodkind, the Progressive-endorsed candidate running for mayor of Burlington.

Tomorrow we will speak with Independent Burlington mayoral candidate Greg Guma.
