Alternative Health Practices and Pseudoscience

Alternative Health Practices and Pseudoscience
Alternative health practices are mostly based on pseudoscience, or no science at all. Some are harmless, other than what is paid for them. Some are actually harmful, and some, while harmless, divert patients from seeking competent medical care. Abhijit Chanda will help sort out which is which.
Abhijit Chanda promotes science and skepticism through the website www.berationable.com, the YouTube Channel Rationable, and The Rationable Podcast. He interviews scientists, skeptics and atheists about topics like psychics, archaeology, health policies, neurology, religion, alternative medicine and fad diets. He has been a guest on skeptical podcasts, has been interviewed for Skeptical Inquirer magazine, and spoken at international skeptical and atheist events.
This program will take place both in-person at 12:30 PM, at Pinnacle Living at 45 Forts Ferry Road in Latham, NY. It will also be available on Zoom at 1 PM.
