Hancock Shaker Village, a living history museum on 750 acres in the heart of the Berkshires, is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

A National Historic Landmark, the property includes twenty historic Shaker buildings, and the oldest working farm in the Berkshires. The museum is home to more than 22,000 artifacts, making it one of the premier Shaker collections in the world.

Hancock Shaker Village presents its “Thanksgiving on the Farm” tradition on the three days following Thanksgiving. The Village will be open all three days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Then, the first weekend in December, HSV presents "Hancock Holidays."

We are joined by Hancock Shaker Village’s President and CEO, Jennifer Trainer Thompson.

Sarah has been a public radio producer for over a decade. She grew up in Saranac Lake, New York where she worked part-time at Pendragon Theatre all through high school and college. She graduated from UAlbany in 2006 with a BA in English and started at WAMC a few weeks later as a part-time board-op in the control room. Through a series of offered and seized opportunities she is now the Senior Contributing Producer of The Roundtable and Producer of The Book Show.
