Albany, NY – This week, Dr. Stieg interviews Howard Riina, associate professor of neurosurgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Riina is what's known as a cerebrovascular neurosurgeon, one who specializes in blood flow in the brain. Dr. Riina talks about dealing with the number-three killer in the United States - strokes. He discusses the effects and warning signs exhibited by stroke patients and the advancing treatments available.
