Small business owners in Pittsfield, Massachusetts can now apply for federal stimulus funding through a city grant program.

Community Development Program Manager Justine Dodds says each business can apply for up to $10,000 in CARES Act funding from a pool of $350,000.

“The applications for the small business program are now available online, and they should be submitted to Pittsfield Small Business at City of Pittsfield.org, and they’re on the city’s website, and they’re also on the Business Pittsfield website as well,” Dodds told WAMC.

Grants for homeowners seeking housing assistance from the federal funding will be handled by the Berkshire County Regional Housing Authority, which anticipates a July 1st start date for applications.
