The Vince Lombardi trophy is heading to Washington, D.C this afternoon. Owner Robert Kraft of the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots is bringing the trophy to Massachusetts Congressman Richard Neal’s office.  Congressman Neal is hosting other members of the New England congressional delegation for a photo session with the trophy. The New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in dramatic fashion last month. With 20 seconds remaining in the game, Patriots undrafted defensive back Malcolm Butler intercepted a pass near the goal line to secure a victory in Super Bowl 49.

It was the Patriots’ fourth Super Bowl win in the past 14 seasons.
