The trails of the remaining suspects in the murders of three Berkshire County men will be held in Hampden County. David Chalue and Caius Veiovis are charged with helping Adam Lee Hall kidnap and kill David Glasser, Robert Chadwell and Edward Frampton, all of Pittsfield, in August 2011.

Last month, a jury in Springfield convicted Hall of three counts of first-degree murder and he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Chalue’s attorney argued that the publicity during that trial makes it impossible for his client to get a fair trial in front of a Hampden County jury.

“It’s a real burden on the family and friends of the victims who have a right to be in court,” said Berkshire County District Attorney David Capeless.

Chalue’s trial is scheduled to start April 22. Veiovis’ September 2. Both have pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder, kidnapping and witness intimidation.
