Adam Hinds is the gang prevention program coordinator for the City of Pittsfield, but is also a Truman National Security Fellow who recently finished nearly 10 years working for the United Nations in the Middle East. This included three and a half years in Iraq, where he survived a roadside bomb attack, and until three months ago he was working on the removal of Syria’s chemical weapons program. WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief Jim Levulis spoke with Hinds about the developments in Iraq.
