Chef Bill Collins

Instructor, author, and private chef Bill Collins joins us today! WAMC's Jackie Orchard hosts.

Chef Bill is a graduate of the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. After graduating, he cooked at the old Ritz-Carlton in Boston, and then worked at Harbor Sweets, the handmade chocolate company, in Salem, Massachusetts.  He started his personal chef business in 2001, and is the author of four cookbooks: Knife Skills, Making and Using Vinegar, How to Make Chocolate Candy, and Making Caramels.

Chef Bill, in addition to being a personal chef, teaches people how to cook. Right now that’s mostly over Zoom. When there’s not a pandemic, he teaches in private homes, at parties, and at team-building events for companies. Chef Bill is currently providing free Zoom cooking classes every Wednesday and Friday. But today, for the next hour – he belongs to the good listeners of Vox Pop Food Friday!
