Today's panelists are Andor Skotnes, Professor of History and Chair in the Department of History and Society at The Sage Colleges in Troy, New York. He is South African born, was involved for years in the anti-apartheid solidarity movement, and teaches a course on South African history. We are also joined by Albany Law School Dean Penny Andrews. Andrews was born and raised in South Africa. She began studying law in apartheid South Africa before coming to the U.S. in the 1980s. She is co-editor of the book The Post Apartheid Constitutions: Perspectives on South Africa’s Basic Law, the foreword to which was written by Nelson Mandela.
