First opened as a movie theater in February of 1949, the historic RosendaleTheatre in Rosendale, NY was bought by the non-profit organization, The RosendaleTheatre Collective, in August of 2013.

Thanks to support from the community, The Rosendale Theatre Collective reached a fund-raising goal and has been running the theatre since.

On Saturday, March 23 at 5pm, the Rosendale Theatre will hold a Community Open House and Celebration. There will be food and drink from local merchants and a presentation by the new Managing Director, Ann Citron, about the state of the Rosendale Theatre.

Ann joins us along with Ed Schoelwer, the Programming Chair.

And yes, he reads every single book.
