Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump will make a campaign appearance in Plattsburgh ahead of the state's April 19 primary.
It is rare for candidates for the highest office in the nation to make a campaign stop in New York’s North Country, but with New York State a critical primary contest in the 2016 campaign, one Republican contender will stop in Plattsburgh.

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump will be at the Crete Civic Center at 3 pm Friday. Doors will open for the rally at noon.

The venue holds 4,800 people and Mayor James Calnon is warning that entry to the building and parking will be blocked once that capacity is reached.
