A new survey of New York public school officials details the fiscal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting cuts to aid on the state’s education system.

The study titled “A Lost Generation” was conducted by the New York State School Boards Association and the Association of School Business Officials of New York between August 28 and September 8. The survey was sent to business officials in 680 school districts and BOCES, with 181 responses received.
