The Albany County Health Department says two restaurants have been temporarily closed after employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The county on Thursday said three employees each at Delmonico’s Steakhouse on Central Avenue in Albany and Philly Bar and Lounge in Latham have contracted the disease. On Friday, the state will test employees at both restaurants, which will remain closed until the results come back.

Indoor dining has been banned in New York City, but has been allowed to resume in most other parts of New York, including the Capital Region.
