Presidential Candidates Coming To The Capital Region

As the April 19th New York Primary approaches the Albany area has become a campaign stop for the candidates.

Ohio Governor John Kasich is scheduled to meet with Republican state lawmakers Monday morning, before heading to Troy for a rally at the La Salle Institute. The Republican will then go to Saratoga Springs for a late afternoon gathering at the Saratoga City Center.

Democratic presidential hopeful and Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is planning a rally at Albany's Washington Avenue Armory Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the Times Union Center in Albany Monday night.

Republican U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, of Texas, campaigned in the Capital Region Thursday. Democrat Hillary Clinton was in Albany Countyearlier this week.
