In this election year, it has been an intense legislative session so far in the Vermont statehouse. In one high-profile example, the House and Senate both voted to override Republican Governor Phil Scott’s veto of a minimum wage hike. Next week, lawmakers will be away from Montpelier for Town Meeting Day Tuesday. But first, Senate Pro Tem Tim Ashe, a Democrat/Progressive from the Chittenden District, spoke with WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley.
