The region is expected to see some significant snowfalls this weekend.
The National Weather Service has announced Winter Weather Advisories for areas south and east of the Capital Region through Sunday morning.
The lower Hudson Valley could see four to six inches of snow. Central Massachusetts, and parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Long Island may see up to 8 inches of snow.
