May is stroke awareness month and joining us for Medical Monday is Dr. Colum Amory, a neurologist and stroke specialist at Albany Medical Center. WAMC's Ray Graf hosts.
Dr. Amory is a neurologist and stroke specialist at Albany Med who has advanced training in the treatment of acute stroke and the prevention of secondary stroke. He received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University, and obtained a master's degree in public health from Boston University's School of Public Health. He later received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. Dr. Amory completed a residency in neurology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
