Rolling Stone retracted the November 2014 article it published purporting to describe a vicious gang rape at a University of Virginia fraternity house, in the wake of a scathing critique issued by the Columbia Journalism School of how the story was reported and edited. The aftermath has unleashed a firestorm debate about journalistic ethics, and how rape is viewed and handled in this country. UAlbany journalism professor Rosemary Armao joins us this afternoon.
