The youngest person running for mayor of Plattsburgh has dropped out of the race.
22-year-old Miles N. Davis was among three Democrats running for mayor of Plattsburgh. He announced via Facebook late last week that he is withdrawing from the campaign.  Davis now plans to campaign for businessman Tenzin Dorjee and run for city council in 2021.  “We need a new mayor but we also need new council members. Apart from the two new guys in there the current council isn’t satisfactory.”

Incumbent Colin Read faces Tenzin Dorjee and Chris Rosenquest in a Democratic primary.  Scott Beebie is the only Republican in the race.
