Plattsburgh Man Arrested After Attempted Bank Robbery

Plattsburgh City Police quickly apprehended a man who tried to rob a downtown bank Friday.
Police were alerted to the attempted robbery by an alarm from the downtown branch of the Champlain National Bank.  

Officers were told by employees that the male suspect showed a teller a hand written note and then fled on foot when he was not given any money.

Surveillance video and descriptions of the man led to the arrest of 57 year old Neil Blouin of Plattsburgh. He is charged with felony attempted robbery.
