Albany teachers union president discusses uptick in student altercations

Schools in our region are recording disruptive physical altercations between students.

In Albany, a 14-year-old city school district student is facing charges following an altercation involving a knife on February 17^th.

Students as well as educators are feeling the stresses of the pandemic.

WAMC’s Lucas Willard spoke with Laura Franz, president of the Albany Public School Teachers’ Association.
