As it prepares to reopen Saturday for the first time since the pandemic took hold, The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs has a new look.
Gone are the plaques and stage inside the Hall of Fame. Visitors can now experience a completely re-imagined space, with 360 degree video, screens that descend from the ceiling, and interactive touch terminals that include information all of the Hall of Fame's inductees — horses, jockeys, and trainers alike.
WAMC's Southern Adirondack Bureau Chief Lucas Willard got a preview from the museum’s Brien Bouyea, who spoke about the new features after a screening of a short film narrated by sportscaster Bob Costas.
