Governor Orders Investigation Into Offensive Fliers

Office of Gov. Andrew Cuomo

Governor Andrew Cuomo is directing state police to conduct an investigation after offensive fliers were found in Western New York.

The governor’s office says fliers allegedly distributed by a white nationalist group were found in Lewiston.

In a statement, the Democratic governor said, “Bigotry and hate have no place here, and we have no tolerance for intolerance.?"

The investigation aims to determine if there is a connection between the fliers and other recent bias-related incidents in the state.
