Authorities say an investigation into a shooting in Gloversville last spring has led to the arrests of nearly three dozen people involved in a crack cocaine ring based in New York City.

Authorities in Fulton County announced Monday that a 29-year-old local man was arrested in New York City last week and charged with attempted murder and assault for the late April shooting that left one man with a gunshot wound to his face.

Officials say their investigation revealed the shooting was drug-related:   members of a downstate street gang were transporting crack cocaine from Brooklyn to Gloversville-  31 other people were arrested November 12th as part of the investigation.
