Burlington Implements First Winter Parking Ban Of The Season

With the first snowstorm of the season arriving in the Northeast, Burlington, Vermont is implementing a parking ban beginning at 10 p.m. Monday.
The parking ban throughout Burlington, except for the downtown, is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Downtown parking is prohibited from midnight until 6 a.m.

Free parking is available during the ban in city owned garages but your car must be removed by 8 a.m. or the full daily rate will be charged.  

Vehicles left on the streets during the ban are subject to towing and a $125 fine.
