Connecticut River Cleanup Targets Source Of Trash

    Thousands of volunteers will fan out in four New England states this weekend to pick up trash from the Connecticut River watershed.

     In years past, tons of trash including plastic water bottles, cans, and tires have been removed.

     The event called “Source to Sea Cleanup” is organized by the Connecticut River Conservancy.

    WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with the organization’s communications director Angela Chaffee.
