With snow predicted for tonight, the mayor of North Adams is delaying his State of the City address until Thursday.

Mayor Tom Bernard, who just marked a year in office, spoke with WAMC in December about his 2019 priorities.

“If we focus on our assets, if we focus on the positive, we can really make progress,” he said then.

Citing public safety concerns over a winter storm Tuesday, Bernard moved his State of the City to Thursday 6:30 in North Adams’ city council chambers.
