Vermont Governor Phil Scott made additional appointments to his Cybersecurity Advisory Team on Monday.

The governor signed an executive order in October creating a team to assess the state’s cybersecurity status. Members will develop a plan to protect public and private sector information systems; evaluate readiness and strengthen safeguards.

State members of the team were designated when the executive order was issued.

Non-state members announced by the Governor on Monday include the Chief Security Officer at the UVM Medical Center, the president of Norwich University’s Applied Research Institutes and a Computer & Digital Forensics professor at Champlain College.
