Great Barrington, Massachusetts will begin work on several streets next spring.

Great Barrington plans to redo several streets undergoing development. Under the plan, the town will close potholes, repave streets and restore walkways.

Some sidewalks have been removed altogether during recent work, including near two affordable housing complexes. A $15 million Berkshire Co-op Market expansion is also expected to break ground soon.

The streetscape plan is funded by a $2.1 million MassWorks Infrastructure Program grant, which needs to be closed by June 30, 2019.
