Williamstown and Lanesborough, Massachusetts are scheduled to vote in November on whether to combine the four school committees that operate in the region.

Williamstown and Lanesborough will vote on November 14th to regionalize their three schools under one umbrella.

Four school committees run the three schools. Proponents argue regionalizing will allow the towns to streamline resources and educational policies.

The plan would have to be approved by a majority in each town. If approved, officials would start an 18-month process in January to craft contracts and a school committee.
