Adams, Massachusetts has agreed to host a medical marijuana dispensary in town.

The town board voted last week to support Mission Massachusetts’ state application to sell medical marijuana in Adams.

According to an agreement made between Adams and the dispensary, the town would get 3 percent of all revenues.

As it develops a 60,000-square foot growing facility in Worcester, Mission Massachusetts seeks a roughly 4,000-square foot building in downtown Adams.

Town officials say there are 34 medical marijuana users in Adams.
