Residents in seven different towns want an architectural evaluation of a 56-year-old school in Dalton, Massachusetts.

Residents of the seven-town Central Berkshire Regional School District voted in support of the district's plan to review the architectural stability of its Dalton school.

The Berkshire Eagle reports the school district will spend $850,000 on the evaluation. Half of the funds will be reimbursed by the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
