Connecticut and federal officials are announcing a hotline for people to report rights abuses or fraud at the polls on Election Day. Workers from the Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission will staff the hotline during voting hours on Tuesday.

The office of Connecticut's top federal prosecutor says its representatives and the FBI will be in touch with state officials to receive any complaints. An assistant U.S. attorney has been appointed to oversee the district's handling of complaints of fraud and rights abuses.

The hotline number is 866-733-2463.
