Lenox Planning Board Supports Resort Spa Expansion

The Lenox Planning Board has approved a proposal to expand and renovate the 105-room Cranwell Spa and Golf Resort under new ownership.The board this week unanimously supported the project proposed by the Denver-based Miraval Group. The company plans to update existing and build new spa facilities, add 41 rooms and create a working organic farm for guests and visitors, according to vice president of development Chevis Hosea.

“We will deploy tens of millions of dollars into bringing Cranwell back to the status it deserves,” said Hosea.

Lenox’s Zoning Board of Appeals will consider the application August 3rd.
