For the first time, the Berkshire Theatre Group is producing an Off-Broadway show in New York City. The Berkshire Theatre Group’s production of Fiorello! will run at The East 13th Street Theater from September 2 and to October 6. The Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning Harnick and Bock musical looks at Mayor La Guardia and his battle for the people of New York City. Cast member Austin Lombardi recently praised director Bob Moss on WAMC’s The Roundtable.
“He wanted to stick to the script and he wanted to stick to the truth behind the story,” said Lombardi.
Fiorello! continues its sold-out run at The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge through July 23.
