New York Times columnist Dan Barry has run the gamut of storytelling from investigative, hard-hitting news stories to sports reporting and three books including a memoir. The Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter is speaking at Williams College this afternoon as his column “This Land” is the basis of a winter study course. Barry spoke with WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief Jim Levulis about his experiences traveling across the United States over the past nine years.

The 4 p.m. event at Williams' Griffin Hall is free and open to the public.

Barry discusses his latest article on a 2013 fight that left Russian boxer Magomed Abdusalamov with severe brain damage.
