A massive Christmas lights display at a Southington, Connecticut house has gone dark after the homeowners said traffic became a problem. The display of more than 50,000 bulbs blinking on and off to the music of Disney’s "Frozen" was organized to solicit donated food for the local pantry.

The only lights at the house now are those of a cancellation sign, disappointing several visitors. Police have put up no-parking signs to keep motorists from stopping.

A Facebook posting said the lights display brought in nearly 2,750 donations, but traffic was an issue.

The posting apologized for shutting down early.
