Only one debate remains in the Massachusetts governor’s race before Election Day. With Democratic Governor Deval Patrick not seeking reelection, party members are concerned.Attorney General Martha Coakley’s early 20-point lead has vanished with recent polls showing Republican Charlie Baker running ahead of the Democrat. Although he thinks Berkshire County will go to Coakley, Democratic State Representative Smitty Pignatelli says there’s uncertainty in the party.

“I think Democrats state-wide are concerned,” said Pignatelli.

Pignatelli says unenrolled voters will decide the race. Independent candidates Evan Falchuk, Jeff McCormick and Scott Lively are also running, but were not invited to tonight’s debate. The faceoff begins at 7 and will be carried by Boston media outlets.
