Facing two challengers incumbent Massachusetts State Auditor Suzanne Bump stopped in the westernmost part of the commonwealth, Friday, less than two weeks before Election Day.Bump previously served as a state representative and then Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development under Democratic Governor Deval Patrick, before becoming Massachusetts’ first female state auditor. Seeking her second term, the Democrat has been criticized for issuing harsh reports of state agencies.

“Yes sometimes that means I’ve had pushback from members of my party, but we don’t make progress by ignoring broken systems,” said Bump.

Republican Patricia Saint Aubin and Green-Rainbow Party candidate MK Merelice are challenging Bump.
