The Orange County district attorney says his office is providing funding for body cameras for village police officers.

Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler says the funding is going to the Village of Tuxedo Park for the purchase of body-worn cameras for its officers. The funds will be taken from forfeiture proceeds that the DA’s office received from 2019’s Operation Bread, White, and Blues narcotics investigation, and are part of Hoovler’s program of providing funding for body-worn cameras to Orange County’s police agencies.
