The company behind a proposed 20 megawatt hybrid energy system in Ulster County, New York has revised the project in the name of renewable energy.
GlidePath Development announced February 1 that it has revised the design of its proposed Lincoln Park Grid Support Center in the Town of Ulster to a battery-only configuration. Town of Ulster Supervisor James Quigley, in a statement on the town’s web site, says the new green design that eliminates fossil fuel generators reflects the concerns of residents and stakeholders. Quigley says the new plan relocates the project to the northeast side of Frank Sottile Boulevard, increasing the project’s setback from residences. GlidePath will present the revised proposal to the Town Board February 7.
