The Westchester County Department of Health is alerting residents that a fox attacked three people in Yorktown over the weekend.

County health department officials said Monday the fox is still at large and believed to be rabid because of its aggressive behavior. They say a fox bit a jogger around 6 Saturday morning on Lee Boulevard. A second man was bitten in his backyard on North Deerfield Road at 8:30 a.m. And on Sunday around 12:30 p.m., a woman was bitten in her backyard. All three are receiving preventive rabies treatment. County officials used robo-calls Monday to notify nearby residents.
