Amid 50th Anniversary Year, Riverkeeper Captain Patrols, Reflects

This year marks the 50^th anniversary of clean water advocate Riverkeeper. There have been milestone celebrations, including a star-studded fundraiser. Yet the heart of the Ossining-based organization’s work is on the water — the Hudson River and its tributaries. WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne recently spent a few hours aboard the Riverkeeper patrol boat with Captain John Lipscomb.
