A study finds that Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Dutchess County has a large economic impact on the Mid-Hudson region. Omega, based in Rhinebeck, retained an outside firm to provide an economic and fiscal impact assessment of the nonprofit organization’s operations on the Mid-Hudson Valley.  WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne spoke with Omega CEO Robert “Skip” Backus about the study as well as a proposed water bottling project in the area.
