  In this week’s Classical Music According to Yehuda, Alan Chartock and Yehuda Hanani continue their series of conversations about quoting, sampling, borrowing in music.

Close Encounters with Music’s first concert of the new season will feature Schumann and Brahms Piano Quintets and will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21 at The Mahaiwe in Great Barrington, MA.

The program, for almost 12 years, highlighted interviews with Governor Mario Cuomo and now continues with conversations with state political leaders.
