Rain and wet snow this morning, with all snow near the Canadian border, across the western Adirondacks and toward Central New York. All rain in the mid and lower Hudson Valley and Connecticut Valley. Precipitation tapering off to snow showers for the afternoon. Temperatures falling through the 30s during the day.Total accumulation by the end of the day Thursday: 

  • 3-6" in the western Mohawk Valley, western and northern Adirondacks, and northern Vermont
  • 1-3" in the northern Catskills, I-88 corridor, eastern Mohawk Valley, upper Hudson Valley, southern Adirondacks, Champlain Valley and central Vermont
  • A coating up to 1" in the greater Capital District, southern Vermont, southern Catskills, Berkshires, Taconics, and Litchfield Hills
  • No accumulation in the mid and lower Hudson Valley and Connecticut Valley

Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers tonight. Lows near 20.
A mix of sun and clouds, breezy and cold tomorrow. Highs in the mid to upper 30s.
