Here's NewsChannel 13 Meteorologist Paul Caiano's WAMC Regional Forecast:

Rain developing, possibly heavy at times today, possibly a rumble of thunder.  Breezy and quite mild with areas of fog.  Highs in the mid 50s.

Rain tonight, heavy at times.  After midnight, a transition to freezing rain and sleet in most places with snow by sunrise in the Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley and Western Catskills.  Some ice accretion possible.  Lows in the 20s.

Any early morning sleet and ice will change to snow before ending as snow showers by noon.  Temperatures will hold steady or fall through the 20s.

Total snowfall:

3-7" Northern Adirondacks, Champlain Valley, Central And Northern Vermont

2-4" Mohawk Valley And Western Catskills, Including I-88

1-3" Eastern Catskills, Greater Capital District, Southern Vermont And Massachusetts

Up To 1" Mid and Lower Hudson Valley and Southern New England
